Download & install
Download the base map zip, put the folder FS25_Witcombe in your FS25 mods directory, enable it in-game. Ultra HD textures are optional—use section 2 only if you want them.
Base pack is large (often ~1.6 GB). Adding HD increases size a lot.

Before you start
Check these first
This is a mod for FS25, not a separate game. Quit FS25 before you add, replace, or re-zip mod files, then start the game and activate the mod.
Game: Farming Simulator 25 (64-bit Windows) must be installed.
Folder / zip name: The extracted mod must live in a folder (or final zip) named FS25_Witcombe so the game can load the map, unless the author’s latest notes say otherwise.
Size: The base map alone is large. If you add the optional HD pack(s), the combined package becomes much larger—plan disk space and (for multiplayer) consider the smaller standard map only.
Source: Download only from Oxygendavid’s official Witcombe Park Farm page (link below).
1 — Base map (“name your own price”)
FS25_Witcombe (main zip from the release page; ≈1.6+ GB—confirm current filename there)
On the author’s project, open the Download area and get the main map archive. You can often choose $0 and continue if offered, or add a tip. Unzip, then check that the mod folder is named FS25_Witcombe before you move it into your mods directory.
The map and the optional HD add-on are different listings/parts on the same project—use the file list to grab the right items.

2 — HD texture pack (separate purchase)
The author offers an “Ultra HD” texture upgrade (often sold separately). It is optional: the map plays with standard textures. If you buy it, you get extra archives that must be merged into the map in the right way—follow the pack README and/or the walkthrough on our Videos page.
Base map: The base map is the required download. HD is extra and increases quality and file size (often by several GB when merged).
HD pack: HD is not the same as “name your own price” for the map: it is typically a fixed-price add-on. See the current price and file names on the author’s download page.
What to choose
- Solo or limited bandwidth, or you share mods in multiplayer: many players use the standard map only (smaller, faster to transfer).
- Solo, strong PC, plenty of disk space: you can buy the HD pack(s), merge into the map per instructions, then re-zip or place in mods as the author describes.
Merging HD (summary only)
- Download and extract the base map zip; keep a single FS25_Witcombe folder with the expected structure.
- Download the HD part(s) from the same release page, extract, and follow the author’s structure—usually you copy the HD “map”/texture content into the base map folder and allow files to replace/merge.
- If the author’s workflow requires a single .zip in mods: create the zip from the correct parent folder. Zipping the wrong subfolder is a common reason the mod does not appear in the list (see below).
- The final name must still match what FS25 expects (FS25_Witcombe unless the author publishes a new name).
If the mod “disappears” after you merge HD, the zip may have been created from the wrong folder level. Re-read the author’s note or use a full video walkthrough: the archive often needs to contain the map folder in the right place, not a random inner subfolder only.
A step-by-step (download, merge, re-zip, mods folder) is on our Videos page.
The project page links the “Ultra HD texture overhaul” and the main map; use the Description and file list there, not a search-engine re-upload.

3 — Step-by-step (typical: base map only)
These steps are for the base map only. If you merged the HD pack, follow the README inside the packs and the HD section above—you may need to re-zip before placing the file in mods.
Show install steps
- Quit FS25 if it is running.
- Download the base map zip from the author’s page (link in section 1) into a folder you can find (e.g. Downloads).
- Right-click the zip → Extract All (or use 7-Zip/WinRAR). Rename the resulting folder to FS25_Witcombe if it is not already.
- Move or copy that folder into your FS25 mods directory (see default Windows path below if you have not changed it).
- Start FS25, open the Mods menu, enable FS25_Witcombe, then start a save and pick Witcombe Park Farm as the map.
Default Windows mods folder
For most users who only use the in-game Mod Hub, mods live under: Documents → My Games → Farming Simulator 25 → mods. If you changed the mod directory in the game or launcher, use that path instead. Always place the FS25_Witcombe folder (or the final .zip, if the author instructs) there.
Notes from the release page
Hotfixes, optional packs, and exact filenames are announced on the devlog and file list. If this site and the author’s page disagree, trust the author’s page. For HD merge bugs, also read the community tab and the README inside the texture packs.
Common issues
If something goes wrong
- Map missing in the mod list? Check FS25_Witcombe naming, the correct mods path, and (if you use HD) that your zip or folder is built from the right parent folder—not a nested subfolder by mistake. FAQ
- “Missing fill types” or production errors? Other mods may be required. See the author’s community tab and FAQ on this site. FAQ
- Wrong file or re-upload site? Re-download only from the official Witcombe Park Farm project page (same host as the links on this page).
